Practice Rope Kits and Practice Ropes — Safety Notice

Our ropes and kits are made from retired climbing ropes and are intended only for ground-based knot-tying and skills practice. Do not use for climbing.

These ropes are not PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) and must never be used for any activity where they may be required to hold weight, resist force, or provide safety.

Excluded Uses (non-exhaustive):

These products must not be used for the following, including but not limited to:

• Climbing, belaying, rappelling/abseiling, or mountaineering.

• Anchor building, top-rope systems, or belay station construction except when practicing un-weighted on the ground.

• Hauling, rigging, lifting, or suspending objects.

• Rope swings, hammocks, chairs, or other suspended seating.

• Animal restraint, leads, reins, or harnesses.

• Fitness training (e.g. battle ropes, tug-of-war).

• Securing or tying down loads in transport.

• Any other load-bearing application whatsoever.

Permitted Use:

• Unweighted, on-the-ground knot-tying and skills practice.

• Craft, decorative, or educational use that does not involve load-bearing.

Important:

• Misuse of these products outside of the permitted uses can result in rope failure,

damage, injury, or death.

• Nope Rope accepts no liability for any incident, injury, or loss resulting from

misuse of the products.

• By purchasing or using these products, the customer acknowledges and accepts

these terms.
